Today I focused my QT on reading Daniel 9:1-19.
This passage is interesting and really sticks out because it contains a specific prayer of Daniel which is so amazing and important because Daniel is known as one of our major prayer warriors and an example. I thought it was cool Daniel contained in his prayer plural words like "we, us, our", not them. He always included himself when talking about the failures of his people even though he clearly was not a part of their rebellion from the Lord, but he is still a sinner and one of them and never severed that tie or distinction as an Israelite. I believe he truly loved his people and was pleading in behalf of them. What a great example of prayer that honestly I have skimmed over in the past I think. I love how Daniel opens in humble adoration to the Lord, lifting Him up. Then he confesses right away which is so key when we come before the Lord. Also, he clearly knows the history of the Lord's character. God will follow through with what He says!!
