Continued my Quiet Time today focusing more in the Integrity chapter from yesterday.
Some of my take away points...
- I love that no one could find fault in Daniel's work (6:46) so they moved on to attacking his faith. I think we are to expect this in this world at some point.
- Pg. 99 says "God's work is never corrupt, the products of human effort fail."
- Jn 17:4 talks about Jesus completed the work He was assigned on earth and I wasn't quite sure what that fully meant. He did not leave His work on earth 1/2 finished. His work was done? but ours begins right?
- loved the way the author talks about how we who are being renewed in the image of our creator are to reflect Him in the way we do our work!!
- expect co-workers to watch the way I work
- EVERYONE deserves respect because they were made in the image of God
- make God's teachings attractive to others
- so why work in the first place... To glorify God and enjoy Him forever, to image Him (image as a verb)
